PRODUCTS OFFERED FOR SALE

Avalon Events will only accept bookings from exhibitors whose stock is acceptable. Anyone wishing to book should send photographs of their stock or provide a web address where their stock may be viewed. Avalon Events will vet applications to ensure a reasonable standard of workmanship and to avoid excessive duplication of any one kind of craft / product.

When booking please describe the craft(s)/product that you will be displaying, these will be the only crafts you will be permitted to display.

Any stallholder displaying goods other than those on their original application form or subsequently agreed upon by Avalon Events prior to the event may be asked to remove them immediately.

 

STALLHOLDERS ARE REQUIRED TO ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:

1.      All stalls to be set up by the advertised start time.

2.      Access may be gained to the venues as advised by Avalon Events and at no other time.

3.      Stall holders are not to dismantle their stall until the advertised finishing time.

4.      All stalls to be set up in an attractive manner and stallholders to supply a suitable table covering to cover the top of the table and reach the floor at the front and two sides. Boxes etc. to be stored out of sight.

5.      Stallholders should check that their table is erected correctly and must not do anything to encroach upon gangways, exits or other stallholders’ access.

6.      Your stall area must be left clean and tidy at the end of the day / event. Rubbish must be taken with you.

 

INSURANCE

Avalon Events does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your stock/products/crafts – we therefore recommend that your stock is insured.

Avalon Events is covered by public liability insurance for all events however cannot be held accountable for any claims arising from injuries caused by your products/stock, you personally, any equipment that you bring with you to our events or by your car / vehicle. We strongly urge you to take out your own public liability insurance if you have not already done so.

 

BOOKINGS

ALL BOOKING FEES MUST BE PRE-PAID. Payment will be accepted by cash, cheque, or Postal Order. Cheques to be made payable to A.Marsh. If you are booking a fair two months or more in advance you may pay 50% by one cheque as a deposit to secure your booking and enclose a second post dated cheque/s for the balance/s N.B this applies only to stall fees of £50 or more.

We can advise you of stall availability over the phone but will not accept bookings by phone. All bookings must be submitted on the appropriate booking form accompanied and accompanied by payment as indicated above.

Avalon Events reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking without giving a reason.

 

CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS

Cancellations will be accepted up to ONE calendar month before the date of the fair - we will refund your stall fee minus £7.50 administration charge. Any booking cancelled at less than ONE month’s notice before the fair, for whatever reason, will forfeit the total stall fee. Cancellations may be advised by phone but must be confirmed in writing.
